My First Handspun
I can spin yarn! Well, sorta. I decided to give a drop spindle a whirl (pun intended) and really enjoyed my first attempt. Sure the yarn looks like sheep vomit, but it can only get better. The fiber is Corriedale wool.

Wow, look, spinning!! I keep thinking I want to learn...but really, I want to do anything but work on this blessed computer right now!! It looks pretty good, for sheep vomit. (womit, my kids say.)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love spinning. I really enjoyed the drop spindle, bought a wheel and lost my spinning time. arg! I still have some of my original yarn. It's so relaxing.
